The Trail Tech UNIVERSAL TEMP METER senses temperature on motorcycles, UTVs, ATVs, SNOW Machines, and other applications where a minimal footprint, watertight integrity, and durability are desired.
The included radiator fin and cylinder head sensor assortment allow for the best option based on your application. After removing a sensor from the included array, they can be installed by pressing a radiator fin sensor between the fins of a radiator or replacing a spark plug crush washer with a cylinder head sensor. You can even capture ambient air temp by leaving the sensor wire exposed to the open air. This UNIVERSAL TEMP METER is primarily designed for motor vehicles use, but it is also well suited for DIY applications such as greenhouses, refrigerators, and computers.

DISPLAY: Displays ºF/ºC temperature for whatever the copper sensor is attached to. Monitor the max temperature reached and press the front button to see the time-of-day clock.
INCLUDED SENSOR CARD: Choice of 6 sensor heads included in the kit. Remove chosen head from the card, then fasten it to the sensor wire with a screw. It is possible to work with homemade DIY copper heads for various uses.
For best performance, use the provided copper sensors.
SENSOR CHOICES: Vehicle coolant sensor heads press into radiator fins (7, 8, and 10mm), or choose an engine ring sensor that replaces a head bolt or spark plug crush washer (10, 12, and 14mm).

Buddy Tracking Setup
1. What maps come standard with Voyager Pro?
Voyager Pro is pre-loaded with maps of the USA.
2. How do I upload different country and region maps to Voyager Pro?
Download maps from our website for free: https://www.trailtech.net/software/
3. What types of Tracks/Routes/Waypoints can I upload to my Voyager Pro?
Voyager Pro accepts tracks, routes, and waypoints in GPX format.
4. Can I use Voyager Pro without vehicle sensors?
Yes, you can use Voyager Pro without any sensors connected, but a 12v DC power connection is required. However, integrating with the vehicle provides you visibility to several key features (engine temperature, battery voltage, tachometer, and wheel speed).
5. How does Voyager Pro display speed?
All speed and distance data can be gathered using GPS or the wheel sensor. For the most accurate readout, we recommend using the wheel sensor.
6. How do I connect Voyager Pro to power?
Voyager Pro requires 12v DC power. Connecting Voyager Pro to AC power will damage the unit and void the warranty.
For applications where DC power is not available, Trail Tech offers an AC wall charger to charge the internal battery (internal battery life is ~45 minutes.)
7. Can Voyager Pro be turned on/off manually?
Yes, hold the upper left button to power Voyager Pro on/off.
8. How do I get the best GPS reception possible?
The internal antenna is designed for optimum reception when installed with a clear view of the sky. Some installations may require mounting under or near metal objects that would block the signal, and in these instances an external antenna (9000-EAA) should be installed.
9. Can I use the same sensors on my Voyager GPS with the new Voyager Pro?
Yes, the Voyager Pro uses the exact same sensors as all other Trail Tech gauges. Note: The power input on the Voyager GPS accepts a wider voltage range. Please double-check that it 2019s 12v DC power.
10. How does buddy tracking work?
Buddy tracking uses long range radio frequencies to connect multiple riders and display each rider as an icon on the screen.
The external antenna is required for buddy tracking to function properly.
11. How far is the range between riders when using buddy tracking?
The range varies depending up the terrain. We typically see between .5 and 1.5 miles of range. The range improves with better line of sight.
12. In what regions of the world is buddy tracking currently enabled?
North America, Central America, South America, and Australia / New Zealand.

High-impact black foot for use with square Trail Tech kickstand leg
Note:
Part number 5925-foot (Black) only fits the square Trail Tech kickstands
1. With the kickstand arm mounted to the motorcycle hold the replacement foot near the insertion hole and note rotation to allow the foot to lay flat on the ground once installed.
2. Remove the kickstand arm from bike
3. Remove old foot. This is usually accomplished by putting the foot in a vise and inserting a long screw driver or arm in the pivot bolt mounting hole and twisting it loose while pulling. To ease removal of the foot heat can be applied to the leg with a heat gun.
4. Clean and remove all oils and residue form the new foot and the kickstand foot hole
5. Use threadlocker (Surlok 1270) on the entire ribbed area that fits into the kickstand cavity to glue the foot in place
6. To insert the foot we recommend using a press. Other methods can be used. Make sure the rotation is correct and push the foot into place until it is fully bottomed against the lower flange. IMPORTANT: ALWAYS USE EYE PROTECTION WHEN USING A PRESS OR HAMMER OPERATION.
7. Wipe clean all remaining loctite
8. Remount arm to bike and insure the rotation of the foot is correct. If not use a soft jaw vice to hold the foot and twist it to the correct rotation.
9. Allow 24 hours before use of the kickstand.
