The high torque loads on an e-bike will wear down the chain much quicker than on a normal bike due to the increased and instant surges in power from the motor. This all depends on usage and climates using your equipment in but overall the treatment provides freshness for up to 10 washes but can be easily applied should items start to smell again due to continual use in warmer climates. Only Polypropylene is more difficult to treat, the fibre surface can be too slippy for the treatment to adhere to.

- Spray Bio Drivetrain Cleaner all over the drivetrain including cassette, chainrings, chain and derailleurs
- Leave for up to 1 minute and agitate with a Claw Brush where required. (If you are using with a chain cleaning device, unscrew the trigger sprayer and fill the device with the formula)
- After agitation thoroughly rinse off with water making sure all of the formula has been removed
- Rinse the entire bike
- Spray Nano Tech Bike Cleaner over the bike frame and wheels and leave to soak for a few minutes before aggitating with a soft brush and rinsing with water
- Now apply HCB-1 to the bike frame and any electrical components, such as the battery casing and motor. Remove any excess with a Microfibre Cloth
- Allow the formula to cure for up to 24 hours for the best possible protection
- Ensure drive chain area is dry

What happens if I start the engine with the exhaust bung in?
You risk shooting the bung out of the exhaust. We always recommend removing the exhaust before starting the engine.
Is the bung resistant to cleaning products and degreasers?
Yes, silicone is generally chemically inert.
How can I clean my exhaust bung?
If the bung gets dirty over time it can be cleaned down with our Bike Cleaner and dried off with a clean microfibre cloth.
How long can I leave it in the exhaust (engine off)?
Indefinitely and is ideal for long term storage but we would always recommend that the exhaust is fully cooled before placing into the exhaust.
How is this product sustainable?
The product is designed to last a lifetime of use. At the end of its life, silicone can be recycled, these services may vary depending on location. Packaging is all card which can also be recycled easily.

Muc-Off Technical Wash is a wash-in cleaner that safely removes dirt, grime, and odours from your technical gear. The unique, concentrated formula gives your garments a deep but safe clean, whilst protecting any existing DWR treatments and the breathability of the material, so it's perfect for freshening up and extending the life of those shred threads! It can be used on any technical or waterproof/water repellent fabric including Gore-Tex®, Polartec®, Pertex®, eVent®, softshell and hardshell clothing.

Instructions for Use:
- Place garments to be washed into your washing machine.
- Shake bottle well to activate the formula.
- Use 25ml (5 x 5ml/0.16oz capfuls) per wash load.
- Dispense Technical Wash for Apparel directly into the detergent drawer of your washing machine, in place of normal washing detergent.
- Wash on a full cycle at 30°C/86°F or according to care label instructions.
- Allow garments to air-dry.
TOP TIP
If washing water repellent/waterproof garments we'd recommend re-treating with our Wash-In or Spray-On Rain Shield ReProofer after the wash to restore the water repellent finish. Follow the directions for use on the bottle for application details.
How many washes will I get per 300ml/10.14oz bottle?
If you use the suggested measure of 25ml-0.16oz per wash load you will get 12 washes per bottle.
When should I wash my technical apparel?
All technical apparel, especially waterproof apparel needs regular washing to keep the membranes breathing and performing at their best. If your apparel is starting to wet out or mud and grime is clinging to the surface, then it's time for a wash with our Technical Wash.
What wash temperature should I use when washing my garment?
We'd always recommend following your garment manufacturers care label instructions which will provide you with their recommended wash temperature. For an outdoor technical garment this will usually be 30C-86F or 40C-104F. Muc-Off Technical Wash is formulated to work at any temperature.
